Found materials, chairs, text, archival material
Kapinapöytä is based on a road trip I made in summer 2012, visiting sites of historical protests, uprisings and resistance in Finland. From each site I collected a discarded object - a piece of timber, traffic post, cobble stone - and built them into a table. The table was installed in a gallery with chairs, historical descriptions and archival material to create a venue for discussing current political, economical and ecological struggles.
